Amazing MR Hanger Steak + Peach-Avocado Salsa

Prep Time ~ 15 minutes plus 4 hours marinate time.
Cook Time ~ Quick grill over high heat.
Best served medium rare (125 degrees).
Serves ~ 4

Ingredients:

raw hanger steak in marinade
  • 1 to 2 pounds Mariposa Ranch Hanger Steaks

  • 1/3 Cup Coconut Aminos

  • 1 Tbsp. Fish Sauce

  • 1/4 Cup Olive Oil

  • 1/4 Cup Lemon Juice

  • 1 Tbsp. Garlic Powder

  • 1 Tbsp. Dried Basil

  • 1 tsp. Black Pepper

  • 1/8 tsp. Cayenne pepper

  • 1 Clove Garlic, crushed

Method:

  1. Mix all ingredients together. Place Steaks in a zip-lock bag and add marinade.

  2. Place in fridge for 4 hours.

To Cook:

  1. Preheat grill to high heat.

  2. Remove steaks from the fridge, allow them to come to room temperature.

  3. Blot marinade with paper towels from steaks.

  4. Grill. Meat is done [125-130 degrees]. Allow steaks to rest 5 minutes.

  5. Slice and serve with salsa.

Peach-Avocado Salsa:

  • 1/2 small Red Onion, minced

  • Juice of Lime

  • 1 Peach, peeled and chopped

  • Handful of fresh Cilantro, chopped

  • 1 Avocado, chopped

  • 1 Tbsp. Olive Oil

  • Salt & Pepper to taste

Method:

  1. Place the red onion and lime juice in the bottom of a bowl. Add peaches, cilantro, avocado, salt & pepper.

  2. Toss gently, allow flavors to meld.
