Hanger Steaks are known as a "Butchers Cut".  There is only 1 per animal and usually the butcher takes it for himself.  It is kind of a secret steak for those in the know.  Now you now about it too.  Hanger is a great steak to marinate and BBQ, hanger steak also tasted delicious when you broil it. You can slice it up and serve over rice or salad.  If you're going for more of a carnivore theme, this steak is great on its own.

grass fed & grass finished

our cattle eat nothing but grass, start to finish — never grain, never feedlots. that's beef the way nature intended, and you can taste the difference.

no junk - ever

no antibiotics, no added hormones, no mRNA vaccines — and no pesticides, herbicides or chemical fertilizers on our pastures. just clean beef you can trust.

family ranchers since 2006

we're the Nitschke family, raising cattle on California pasture and shipping straight from our ranch to your table.

flash frozen freshness

every cut is flash-frozen right after butchering and packed in insulated boxes with gel packs colder than ice — so it arrives in perfect condition.
