Filet Mignon TAIL steak is the last 4 to 6 inches of a whole tenderloin cut.  This is the ultimate #IFKYK steak.  It is the exact same meat as Filet Mignon (its more famous sibling) but a lot easier on the budget.  Cook Filet Tails just like you would a Filet Mignon, they are great to BBQ, grill, pan fry, reverse sear or roast.  Mild flavored and always tender
